BEPPI Casual Boot Baby are year-round ankle boots for little walkers from the Portuguese brand Beppi. The upper is made of smooth synthetic leather in khaki green with a dark brown knitted ankle trim. Two velcro straps make them easy to put on and fasten.

They are suitable for spring, autumn and mild winter days. They work well as a first autumn pair for nursery, when low trainers are no longer enough for morning dew and fallen leaves, but insulated winter boots are not yet needed.

   The upper copes with a short shower, dew and wet grass, but they are not designed for mud or puddles. The synthetic material has no waterproof membrane.
2. Does the boot stay on the ankle when running and climbing?
   The higher cut and two independent velcro straps hold the heel better than low trainers, which parents of children still learning to walk on uneven ground will appreciate.
3. Can I buy the same model in another colour?

4. How can I tell if the boot is too small?
   The most reliable way is to take out the insole and let your child stand on it. The big toe should have at least a centimetre of space left at the end of the insole.

   No, they lack the insulation and waterproof sole needed for hard frost or snow. Casual Boot Baby is made for spring, autumn and days around freezing point. For real winter weather, you need insulated winter boots.
