These all-season barefoot trainers from the Czech brand Pegres are well made and handmade from certified leather. Thanks to the stitched sole, they are really durable. The cut is designed for comfort, whether your child has dominant big toes, narrow heels or fin-shaped feet. They are nicely roomy at the front, leaving space for natural toe development, and adjust easily to a lower or slightly higher instep.

How to care for the shoes

• always brush off coarse dirt first
• wipe the shoes with a damp cloth and dry them
• do not machine wash them or dry them directly next to heat sources
• to increase durability, treat the shoes regularly with a waterproofing spray
• with proper care, the leather will last a long time
• a natural colourless leather balm will extend their life and keep them looking good

How to choose the right size

Measure your child's foot and add a growing allowance, ideally 9-12 mm for kids' shoes.
