Podcast naBOSo Walking, Movement and Health
Vlaďka Botlíková, a healthy movement instructor with over 40 years of experience, shares how to listen to your body and improve both health and mindset through mindful movement.
In the new episode of the naBOSo podcast, you can listen to an interview with PaedDr. Vladana Botlíková, CSc., a healthy movement instructor who has been helping people get rid of pain for more than 40 years and feel good in their bodies again. Vlaďka studied at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Charles University, and throughout her life she has connected science, practice and her own experience with injuries. She brings techniques from yoga, the Feldenkrais Method, Spiral Dynamics and other approaches into her work — but above all, a human touch and the ability to explain everything simply and clearly.
For more than 30 years, she taught students at CTU and still runs courses for adults and seniors today. She has also created successful online programmes, such as Exercises for Feet or Back at Ease, which help hundreds of people at home and on the go. In the podcast, she talks about why it’s important to listen to your body, how to build a healthy mindset, how to exercise sustainably in everyday life, and also how looking after your body can be natural, simple and joyful.
You’ll find out how Vlaďka works with her clients, what motivates her, how she dealt with her own injury, and how she thinks about movement as we get older. Expect an inspiring, practical conversation full of insights Vlaďka has gathered over a lifetime. Her philosophy? Only take care of the parts of your body you want to keep healthy.
