Lightweight barefoot sock shoes with room for toes to spread naturally. Handmade in Germany and vegan, for everyday wear in the city or at home.

Elegant sock shoes from the German brand leguano are so comfortable that you will not want to take them off. And you do not have to. Wear them to work, on a shopping trip, to the gym or on a walk with the dog. Do your feet get cold? Try the warming winter model with a high wool content. They are designed for barefoot-style walking, especially on hard, unnatural city surfaces, where they massage the reflex points in the foot.

How to care for your shoes

wipe the shoes with a damp cloth and dry them
do not dry them directly on heat sources
the shoes can be machine washed on a gentle cycle at up to 30°C
use a mild detergent, without fabric softener
do not spin dry or tumble dry
for added durability, treat the shoes regularly with a waterproofing spray
with proper care your barefoot shoes will last a long time

The most successful model of all is aktiv, which was created in 2015 alongside the classic “sock” models in response to the many requests from people who had fallen in love with walking in leguano barefoot shoes but did not want to go outside just “in their socks”.
