Barefoot leguano neron is based on the older care model. These shoes feature a large, flexibly adjustable buckle that makes them easy to slip on and off whilst adding a distinctive style. They also deliver the legendary leguano qualities: a pronounced barefoot feel thanks to the high flexibility of all hand-stitched materials, which offer no resistance to your foot and its natural movement. The material effectively repels water, wipes clean easily and is simple to maintain. The anti-slip sole ensures safe movement.

  • to increase durability, treat shoes regularly with waterproofing spray
  • with proper care, your barefoot shoes will last a long time

leguano from 2006 to the present day

The leguano brand would never have come about without the support of a group of motivated people driven by a shared vision – the vision of a revolutionary shoe in which we can move freely and without pain, simply as if barefoot. This conviction was also the main motivation for the following five years during which leguano was developed, and it is why the brand is still growing today. Three million pairs of shoes sold and partners in more than 30 countries are proof that what leguano does makes sense.

The most successful model of all is aktiv, which was created in 2015 alongside the classic “sock” models in response to the many requests from people who had fallen in love with walking in leguano barefoot shoes but did not want to go outside just “in their socks”.
