First shoes are designed for children who are just beginning to walk independently. A thin yet stable sole allows your child to feel the ground whilst providing protection. A wide toe box supports natural arch development from the very first steps.
When is the right time for first shoes? Ideally when your child spends most of their time on their feet outdoors, where they need protection from cold or injury. Barefoot shoes for first steps are designed to mimic barefoot walking, which is the most natural way for humans to move.
A thin and flexible sole allows your child's brain to receive important sensory feedback from the ground, which is crucial for movement coordination and balance development. At Premium Barefoot, you'll find models with plenty of space for little toes to move freely and naturally.
We select only the finest brands made from quality and safe materials, because we know that first steps matter most. 👣💚
