BEPPI Sapato Casual Baby are low velcro trainers for little walkers, made by the Portuguese brand BEPPI. They are available in sizes EU 20-27 (UK 4-10), from the first independent steps to around three or four years old. The right age depends purely on your child's foot size, not the calendar.

The upper is smooth synthetic leather in cream with khaki green panels and a blue detail on the strap. The toe, heel and velcro straps are synthetic suede.    Yes. Zero drop, a flexible sole and a wide toe box match what is usually recommended for first shoes.
2. Do the shoes stay on when my child runs?
   Two independent velcro straps can be fastened more snugly than a single strap across the whole instep.
3. Are the shoes waterproof?
   No. They cope with a short shower, but they are not designed for puddles or wet grass.
4. Can I buy the same model in another colour?

   The most reliable way is to remove the insole and let your child stand on it. There should be at least a centimetre of space between the big toe and the end of the insole.
